The new world of distribution, which is the digitization has become possible, allowing the filmmaker more opportunities, greater opportunities and more freedom. Many film producers switch from the old to the new world, because in the old world no place for them or they had no prospect of success. Distribution expert Peter Broderick in his essay compares the “old” with the “new world” of the distribution and stresses especially the many advantages that the new technology.
